Ocean Dunes Villa 220

Wonderful vacation
We loved Hilton Heads laid back atmosphere and southern charm. Having a wonderful unit with great amenities made our stay perfect The space is decorated so nicely with light beachy colors and clean well maintained furnishings. The kitchen has everything you need even thermal cups to bring your coffee on your beach walk. Beach chairs and toys allowed you to enjoy the water and relax. The condo is close to the beach, cute shops and restaurants ( 6 blocks). We rented electric bikes which was quite the experience and would do it again. Looking forward to coming again next year but staying longer! Thanks Melissa and Chris… love your place!

Another amazing year at Ocean Dunes - even with a hurricane! Unit 220 was beautifully, newly decorated - comfortable, bright, lots of extra touches. This place was great. Beautiful view. Plenty of room for a couple or small family. Only thing is maybe the bathroom could be upgraded. But would definitely stay here again.

Amazing intimate family retreat
We absolutely loved our stay at the Ocean Dunes. We rotated between the pool (which almost felt private), beach, and exploring from sun up to sun down. The king bed was comfy and baskets and storage encouraged us to get settled in from Day 1. The kids had to trade off the top bunk each night and the gate for the bunk bed helped us sleep with ease. The owners shared local restaurants and a bike rental/dolphin tour option—we loved everything we tried! It truly felt like an intimate family vacation with chill vibes and all the amenities (plus dolphins, alligator, jellyfish, and horseshoe crab sightings). We will be coming back!

Comfortable condo with ocean views in the best location!
Highly recommend this condo for your next vacation, it’s wonderful! My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and fell in love with HHI. The condo was very clean and felt like home with beautiful decor. It was newly refreshed with paint, furniture, kitchen supplies, bedding and TV’s. The keyless entry was very convenient, and the property management company was responsive and helpful through the stay (they are right across the street). We enjoyed having coffee on the patio in the morning watching the sunrise over the beach and listening to the ocean and birds. The unit is well appointed with calming trees and a perfect view of the ocean, beach, and pool. The location was very convenient with easy access to walk or bike to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. You do not need a car. We had so much fun biking down the beach, up into Sea Pines and to Harbour Town Lighthouse for lunch. We enjoy peaceful sunsets each evening on the beach. Being there ‘off season’ was wonderful with comfortable temperatures and a relaxed vibe. The heated pool is well kept with plenty of seating. There are bathroom facilities outside making it easy for families. The hotel next door had a Starbucks and an outdoor bar for cocktails and food. We did not want to leave and plan to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We liked this condo a lot. Very nice location, great view of the ocean, and perfect size for two people. The AC keeps the unit nice and cool. Our only complaint was that the lock and key were a little tricky to work. A touch pad would make it much easier.

Liked the view and furnishings. The door lock was a little headache. Using the key. Had some problems with the TV. Might have been self imposed. Enjoyed the stay but weather was a little testy.

Mom always enjoys staying in room 220. It was an early 80th birthday treat for her. This place is clean, and everywhere has beach accents. Even thoughtful notes from the owner of where to find things. Love being oceanfront and enjoying that view in the living room and sitting on the porch. It's close to the shops and the staff is great at welcoming you home when we visit! Love this place!

Stayed here during 4th of July week-- very busy.
First the positives:
- Place was clean
- 2 wall a/c's worked really well keeping us cool
- Automatic ice maker worked well!
- Nice landscaping, Pool was nice, grills were clean (we used both amenities), plenty of bike racks.
Negatives:
- Main A/C wall unit vents to balcony making it a bit noisy and hot (but small price to pay for how well it worked)
- We (and about 10 others) had to park illegally every night after dinner. Bring a jeep or suv so you can put a wheel in the landscaping. Take your bike rack off to save space. Get up early to move your car to a safer spot in the morning.

Overall, we would stay there again! go for it!

The unit was wonderful. The furniture's functionality and layout really maximizes the space. It was very clean and tidy upon arrival. There were thoughtful extras like games and puzzles for rainy days, some beach supplies, and lots of coastal art and other décor.

Everything was just as described and pictured. Close enough to beach we could come back to the room to use the bathroom- which worked great because the beach bathroom was closed. Also, the gym is closed.

We enjoyed our stay in Ocean Dunes Villa 220, Hilton Head SC. The condo/apartment was oceanfront and had a nice balcony. The only improvement I would suggest is the path to the beach on the side with the bathrooms really needs a hose and spray off area. There is only a short spray off station to do your feet and once others use it you are in a standing puddle which is not good.

I like the location of the Ocean Dunes. It is right between the Hilton and the Marriott and is close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The Condo itself could use some updates with the bathroom, kitchen and a new couch. The air conditioning unit in the living room blows right on you when sitting on the couch and it has an odor to it. The one in the bedroom blows right on you as well, when lying in bed. The location of the bedroom is near the stairwell and could hear people coming in later in the evening. Overall, our experience was another great week in Hilton Head.

Overall it was a great place and great access to the beach. There are two small things that I think need mentioning. First is the sliding door was extremely difficult. I got stuck outside and it had to be opened from the inside. The track needed cleaning and probably greased. The other issue was the sheets would not stay on the bed. They had queen sheets on a king sized bed.

Ocean Dunes is always the best place to stay on Hilton Head. Vacation Time of Hilton Head has been our "go to" when we choose to stay on the island. After a 12 hour trip, we were warmly greeted by the professional property management staff, welcoming us to the island. A short time later, we received a call, asking if the condo was to our satisfaction and if we needed anything.
The view from the kitchen looks out to the comfortable patio which was perfect for times of reading in the evening, listening and watching the waves on the shore.
The comfortable bed afforded good nights of rest. We never missed a sunrise, just a short walk on the condo pathway. Our days were filled with biking on the island's paths, shopping at Coligny Plaza, hours reading at the beach, and a short walk to our "church away from home," First Baptist Church of Hilton Head.
The kitchen provided all the utensils and appliances needed for our meal preparations.
The condo's decor of soft aqua and tan color, seashell accents, and framed water scenes enhanced the peaceful mood of this condo.
We are very satisfied with our stay at this condo and grateful for the opportunity.

Wonderful view, very clean and cute condo. We had everything we needed, the balcony was well furnished too. The beach was very close, and the pool area was well maintained. Coligny plaza was just a short walk away, and we enjoyed the bike paths very much! Would definitely stay here again!

This is the second time with Vacation Time and Ocean Dunes.Convenient and had all we needed. Kitchen floor was very dirty - wasn't mopped! Owners could do more to maximize small space. Shelf for microwave to free up counter space, bar stools, etc. Loved it!

All good place was clean with a great view of the ocean. Had problems with the main tv remote not working may be the box pickup. Cold water handle in the shower needs attention along with a mattress change. Other than that the unit served us well it had all the necessary items to make the stay wonderful.

The property was very clean and well furnished. Small but adequate. The unit is at the end of the building near the path to the beach. Next door to the Mariott Grande Ocean. Quiet. There is some construction noise from heavy machinery on the other side of the building but it was not as loud at this end. The balcony beach front view is wonderful ! I would rent again. Location great..near grocery stores, restaurants and shops.

We booked our week at the very last minute and everything still went great. The transaction was smooth, the management company was easy to work with and very accommodating, and the unit was clean and comfortable.

This was a working vacation for us, and the internet access was fast and reliable, with two people on simultaneously, using voice and data.

Only suggestion I have is they should take a picture of the view off the balcony for this unit because it's fabulous! No pool or parking lot obstructing the direct view of the ocean...just a green expanse of grass, then some shrubbery and a few pines (not too many) then the beach and ocean... close enough to hear the waves. That's a selling point that is not highlighted in the photos and I almost didn't rent this unit because of it. (I assume that if there's no picture of the view then it must not be so good.)

Overall, highly recommended. We'll be back to this villa again, for sure.
