Ocean Dunes Villa 316

Loved this unit. Great location at the end away from the annoying outdoor music (didn’t hear it this time!) and loved the balcony setup. Ocean front is the best experience. The kitchen was very nice and there were enough dishes etc as we eat in often to maximize beach time and time on the balcony. Will definitely stay in this unit again.

We love this place. We have been coming to Ocean Dunes for 29 years and we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. We always feel safe. We can't wait for our next visit.

The view was outstanding. The unit was very clean but could use a little tune up with details like new couch cushions, fixing the exterior light dangling on the balcony & a fresh coat of paint. However, all can be overlooked with the view. My only mention would be having access to a super on site that could address obnoxious guests. Kids running the exterior halls after 10pm and adults with music speakers at the pool were unacceptable. Luckily we could get to the beach easily to escape them or enjoy Hilton Head at large. I would stay again, however.☺️

Thank you for your review. I will certainly pass along your recommendations on the sofa and paint to the owner. I will also have the dangling light addressed ASAP. Would have been happy to fix it while you were here. If at anytime during your stay you need to report an incident of bad behavior, you can call us during working hours or our emergency after hours line. There are noise regulations in place for the building and if we can't respond, the sheriff will as well. Glad you had the quiet beach to retreat to and that you enjoyed the exceptional view of the ocean. Thank you again and we hope you will return.

Our stay at Ocean Dunes was fantastic! We enjoyed the beautiful oceanfront view. Loved watching the dolphins swim by everyday. The condo had everything thing we needed for our stay. Vacation Time staff are ALWAYS awesome!

Third is the 3rd time my family has rented from VTHHI at Ocean Dunes. This is a very nice condo with a great Ocean and pool view. We had a minor maintenance issue upon arrival and the VTHHI team responded quickly. I am disappointed they they still use hardware keys on the door, most units have keyless entry, which allows remote check in. We will continue to rent from VTHHI for our vacations.

We had a great vacation with this Condo Unit. The location is perfect! Away from the tourist plaza which gets very busy yet close enough to bike/walk to the shops if needed. The condo was as pictured. The view is worth it!! We had a few issues but nothing that would stop me from booking again. You are only provided very few kitchen towels which was a big deal since we cooked many of our meals. But it had every appliance you would need. No beach/pool towels are provided. Not enough dish soap/dishwasher soap was provided. Toliet paper was limit for the 5 of us, we just had enough. The shower drain in the guest bathroom was clogged when we arrived on Saturday, we were able to plunge it since property mgmt was not open. Both shower door areas need to be upgraded as it was not the cleanest looking. The beach chair needs to be thrown away as it is all rusty and is going to break any day. We could not get the TVs to work in either bedroom, I would suggest a guide since there are two remotes. The living room remotes were hard to get to work. But was okay since we were not there to watch TV. Again, overall great condo but a few things could be done to make it spectacular.

316 is one of the 3 units we rented for our family trip. Lovely unit - well furnished and clean and of course the view. We loved relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the ocean. Perfect location and as always Vacation Time handled our multiple reservations with their usual excellent service.

Was a last minute trip and was surprised at how expensive this unit was. Would have been nice if the air inside had been cooler when we arrived. When we first arrived it smelled musty and old. The ice maker took 3 days to make ice also there was not a broom the keep the sand swept up. We bought one and left it for the next guest. We had a great time but for the money I think this place could have been nicer.

As always - it felt great to be able to go "HOME". Ms. Stephanie and Mr. Michael are always so helpful - they are like family to me. Condo was in a nice location. Two bedrooms made our stay more comfortable. Was nice to enjoy the ocean and pool view each morning from balcony. Patio furniture could be updated, bathroom showers could have been cleaner. There was lots of hair in the drain. Took a couple Kleenex to clean it, but shouldn't have to do that. If there was glass cleaner, I probably would have given it a once over as well.

We have stayed many years at Ocean Dunes due to the reliable service and perfect location directly on the beach. Ocean Dunes Villa 316 was nicely updated and has a picture perfect view of the beach. The property description was accurate and the property was clean. I would 100% recommend this property to a friend, We love the location directly on the beach. The family loves to ride bikes to Coligny Plaza for dinner, shopping, cupcakes, and ice-cream.

The condo was clean and had a great view of the ocean and pool. You walk outside the complex and step on the beach. It was a busy week in Hilton Head yet the beach in front of the condo was never crowded. Check in and out took less than 2 minutes and the staff was very nice and helpful.

My only criticisms relate to the pull out sofa and toaster. The pull outs mattress was so thin you could not sleep on it without springs going into your back. We had to lay our pillows under the sheet in order to make even a part of the pullout useable. The toaster kept starting the bread on fire and is obviously in need of replacement.

Outside of those issues we had a great stay.

This was our 8th trip to HHI staying at vacation Time. Even with the construction it never once interfered with our enjoyment. In fact, we feel like we have grown with the company and felt very much part of the excitement for our next trip to HHI. The office staff probably sees thousands of people in a year and yet you still feel like you are coming "home" when you step into that office on a extremely busy Saturday afternoon. The only thing that our villa did not have was a dvd player which we missed as on some evenings it's fun to watch a favorite family movie. And that is the only thing I could recommend for the owner. Otherwise it was again the best 2 weeks of our summer and dream and plan to come again next year. I always recommend to our friends to visit our favorite place in the USA.

As usual, fantastic. The people who own this keep is nice and updated. Had problems but NOTHING bad. The CD player didn't work... who cares, and they send someone to fix it. The only problem we had was not enough cutlery, but then again we had quite a few people there so most would not run into that problem. Overall GREAT place, as usual. By the way, they redid the outside of the entire complex and it looks very nice. Good job.

Good location but no sunset on this side of island. Beautiful sunrises. Management needs to check maintenance issues between guests-master bath shower did not drain at all. Trim on floor between kitchen and living area was poorly repaired and nails caused 2 bloody feet during our visit. Great beach and view from balcony is beautiful - but balcony is small.

Great location. Quiet. Beach is easily accessible. Unit has a wonderful ocean view. Near bike trails so it was an easy ride to the grocery store. The property needs more bike racks. This villa needs some updating. Our unit's refrigerator did not have an ice maker. For the most part- the unit was clean but the guest room commode and freezer needed some attention upon our arrival. The property manager sent housekeeping to take care of our concerns once we placed a call to them. Enjoyed our stay!

Overall experience very good. Condo was very plain. Floors need work. The TVs were SAD,need to tell owners they sell flat screens NOW!!! Will not stay in another unit that doesn't have one, ever.

The experience was great. Only a few little utensils were missing in the kitchen. The facelift to Ocean Dunes was needed and provides the renter with additional privacy. I would ask for this property again in the future.

We loved being right on the ocean and enjoyed the location which is walking distance to activities. The condo was in good, clean condition and suited our needs. We liked having a master bedroom with its own bath. We were a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and an 8 year old.
